Monkeypox Now Spreads Through Touch: Know The Precautions You Need To Take
According to the latest reports, Monkeypox now spreads through touch like any other viral disease. The disease is a rare infection that belongs to the family of the variola virus, which causes smallpox. The spread of the virus can now take place through skin-to-skin contact.
India has recorded its first Monkeypox death. However, as the number of positive cases of people infected with the virus increases, the country is becoming more aware.
A man in Kerala, a state in the southern part of India, aged 22, recently passed away after being infected with Monkeypox. The country recently reported a number of nine cases in total infected with Monkeypox.
The Central Government has updated the ‘Guidelines on Management Of Monkeypox Disease.’ According to the latest guidelines, if you have traveled to affected countries in the last 21 days, you should quarantine yourself.

The man, who recently passed away on Saturday in Kerala, had tested positive after returning from the Emirates. While this is the fourth Monkeypox death worldwide, it is India’s first.
