eTravel Card: What Replaced One Health Pass?  

The One Health Pass (OHP) has officially been replaced as the entry requirement for arrival in the Philippines by the electronic Travel Card, or eTravel Card. In accordance with a decision made by Philippine health authorities to simplify the arrival procedure, this new card is simpler to fill out and requires less information.

In an article published by the Philippine Airline in 2022, the platform mentioned the new travel advisory. This is something that they stated:

“A new electronic ARRIVAL CARD (“eARRIVAL CARD”) has officially replaced the One Health Pass (OHP) as an entry requirement for arrival in the Philippines.

This new eARRIVAL CARD is easier to fill out and requires less information, in line with a decision by Philippine health authorities to simplify the arrival process.

To avoid long lines at the airport, we highly encourage you to fill out the eARRIVAL CARD within 72 hours prior to departure from your country of origin.”

eTravel is a platform for online Health Declaration and Contact Tracing that aims to make it easy and seamless for international travelers to move from their home country to the Local Government Unit (LGU) of their destination.

When a traveler is infected with a particular disease, it is solely the responsibility of the Philippine Government to maintain a database of all those who enter the country for the purpose of contact tracing.

  • Head over to etravel.gov.ph.

  • To finish your registration, fill in your personal information and sign a health declaration form.

eTravel Card QR Code And Types  

After you have been able to successfully register for eTravel Card, it is time for you to go ahead with the other processes. And the first one among them is the QR Code.

After you have been able to register, you will be able to receive a QR code from the government. Before exiting the eTravel website or application, take a screenshot or download your individual QR code.
